Richmond Battle Results

On January 21^st, Infinity athletes, families and coaches traveled to Richmond, VA, to compete in the Richmond Battle competition. This competition included over 150 teams from the Virginia, Maryland, DC, and Carolinas! Overall, it was a banner day for Infinity All-Stars' cheer and dance teams performed and placed extremely well!

Infinity brought 12 teams to the competition – of those 12, we had six teams place first and the remaining teams all place in the top 5 of their respective divisions. The Senior Hip Hop team was also named Grand Champion for the morning session, and also received a PAID BID to the US Final Destination. This is the second paid bid our Senior Hip Hop team has been awarded, after already getting their paid bid to 2012 Worlds. The team also was the recipient of the WOW Award for outstanding choreography!

The Gamma Rays (Senior Co-Ed 3) was the overall winner for all Level 3 teams, and was also awarded a PAID BID to the US Final Destination. The Richmond Battle marked the first competition for Dark Matter (Senior 4.2), and both our Senior and Junior Jazz teams. None of the groups disappointed, as they performed very well – Dark Matter placing first and both Jazz teams placing second in their respective categories!

Eclipse (Junior Level 3) – 4th Place; Bid to US Finals
Solar Flares (Junior Level 2) – 2nd Place; Bid to US Finals
Stardust (Youth Level 2) – 4th Place; Bid to US Finals
Supernovas (Mini Level 1) – 5th Place; Bid to US Finals
Senior Hip Hop - 1st Place; Grand Champions; Partial Paid Bid to US Finals; WOW Choreography Award
Junior Hip Hop – 1st Place; Bid to US Finals
Youth Hip Hop – 1st Place; Bid to US Finals
Junior Jazz – 2^nd Place; Bid to US Finals
Senior Jazz – 2^nd Place; Bid to US Finals
